It looks actually quite sturdy for the price. I installed it on my rear view mirror easily. The clamp head does rotate, and the buttons to lock the joints are solid so far. first day, and will update if anything is a problem!

This actually stays put. In the past the hook is spring loaded and it tends to fall off or shift. This is a stew on and keeps this in place. The adjustments are buttons, you have to press the two buttons in order to adjust the arm. This was a good buy. Plus it keeps phone out of sun and from overheating, which is what I needed.
