Excellent item for the car enthusiast to have. When I used mine I found it a bit difficult to understand the settings but figured them out. The readings that I got were as expected but the odd thing was that the numbers showed that the battery is bad but the one reading at top shows that my battery is ‘perfect’. That’s hard to believe with a battery that is showing 12.1 volts and went dead during the winter before recharging it. Maybe I set up the test wrong but I don’t think that I did. I know the battery that I tested is bad. I was just checking to see how bad it is showing with the test from this battery tester. There should be a section in the user manual that explains the readings that the tester gives and what is good and what is bad. I still would recommend this tester.
