   Update…the lid does twist off so you can empty the ashtray without taking it off the air vent. I was glad my husband figured it out.
   This is very cute. I love the led lite. Makes it easy to see at night. It has grooves on the pieces you insert to fit into your vents that locks it in. Not sure it will come off without the pieces breaking tho bc it locked it in good. I have a 2017 fusion. My husband ordered one for his 2010 camero & he can’t use it on his vents, makes it set at an ackward angle. Also the silver plastic piece I don’t think will come off so emptying your ashtray will be a challenge. I don’t even think I can get mine off the vent without breaking those vent inserts to empty my ashtray. When I vacuum it, I’ll try to suck it out like that. Other than that, it’s cute & fit’s sturdy & I’m happy with it.

   I’ve bought this item twice now. One for my mom’s car and one for my dad’s car. Haven’t used the one in dad’s car yet. As for the one in my mom’s car it works great. We have a Nexar camera and two charging cords plugged in. They all work at the same time.
   My mom’s car only has one USB port and even with a split USB plug in, the car struggled charging all three.
   I definitely recommend it for those that need to charge multiple things in a car at once
