This is a terrific head’s up display (HUD) especially well suited for drivers in the United States. It plugs in to a car’s On Board Display (OBD) plug under the dash. The black cord that comes with it concealed nicely under my driver side door-frame seal (excess cord can be coiled with a zip-tie and hidden underneath, running up to the dash board where the unit projects up onto the windshield.
It comes pre-set to kilometers per hour (kph) but I found it extremely easy to set to miles-per-hour (mph)—I’ve ordered three different brands of HUD but this was the only one I could set to mph. Honestly, set up took just a couple of minutes.
I’m very pleased with this purchase. I think if the seller made clear it’s easily adjustable to mph they would have HUGE sales in the US. I’ve found nothing comparably good to this unit and especially for so modest a price.
See my photo and video—the actual display looks better than as depicted in the photo. I found its speed tracked pretty close to my speedometer—but it has an EASY adjustment feature to match speed exactly. Brightness is adjustable but I’m happy so far with its automatic dimmer feature.
Instructions were in English and easy to follow. I highly recommend this unit.

I install this M5 HUD on my 2007 Ford Expidition with OBD2 connection. It works perfectly. After changing the kmh to mph on setting #9, the speed shown on the screen is precisely for the car. Note: the speed calibration on menu #1 needs to change from 107 to 100. There is no delay at all. The display sticker is installed to avoid the ghost images from the windshield. When parking under the sun, I cover the device to avoid the overheating as shown on the photo. When idling, the device displays the engine RPM. 20″ after the engine off, the device is off automatically.

Great price for this easy to install HUD speedometer. It comes with a lot of cool features. The only problem is i couldn’t get the automatic shutdown voltage to work. i’ve set it to my cars powered off voltage but it still won’t shut down even after the car is completely off. If anyone could help with this email me at guccit307@gmail.com (because i don’t think you can reply on here)
